Here we are offering a lightweight valve train power package that consists of our custom machined titanium valve spring retainers and locks that are less than half the weight of the stock retainers and locks combined with our performance 120 lb. seat pressure valve springs and a set of 1.6 roller rockers.

This package will give you an extra .050" valve lift from your stock cam and the performance valve springs with super light weight titanium retainers and locks will insure that your valves won't float at high RPM's causing a loss of upper RPM horsepower.

The retainers are machined for a .500" maximum valve lift camshaft

Retainers May Vary In Appearance From Pictures depending on availability

COMPLETE PACKAGE -  $175.00

TITANIUM RETAINERS AND LOCKS ONLY -  $100.00

This is completely compatible with the stock cam. I run this exact same setup on my stock cam daily driver with zero issues.

Besides the stock cam what other cam and grind would you recommend to go with these? Just looking for better street performance.

Sorry for the delay, yes you can buy the titanium retainers seperate. For just the retainers and locks that are machined for a .500" lift cam are $100.00 plus shipping. If you have any other questions please let me know.

when you say they are machined for a .500 lift cam does that mean i need a special cam?

No you will not need a special cam with this set of retainers. What "machined for .500" lift cam" means is that these will work with a stock cam and any other cam up to .500" lift. Once you go past a .500" lift cam the bottom of the titanium retainer is getting very close to your valve seal and you will no longer have the safe clearance that's necessary to run this set of retainers.

Any update Judge Dredd?  Would you put a list on here of the lift of some of the common cams, so we can know what types we could use?  I know they are listed on sites, but it would seem good to have it listed on this page too.

Here are the basic Schneider cams that are out there.

http://schneidercams.com/solidfollowercamshafts-2.aspx

http://schneidercams.com/hydraulicfollowercamshafts-2.aspx

As far as posting up a pile of cams its really not going to help as much as just calculating what you are thinking of running.

The stock 2.6 liter cam yields about .390" lift with the stock 1.4 rocker. If you divide .390" by 1.4 you will get the cam lobe lift of .278" ~.279". Now when you put the 1.6 roller rocker on it all you do is multiply the lobe life of .278 by 1.6 and you get .446" lift.

You can do this with any cam as long as you know the cam specs :

Part Number:     14629
Grind Number:    294H-14
Intake Duration (gross):    294
Exhaust Duration (gross):    294
Intake Duration (.050”):    240
Exhaust Duration (.050”):    240
Intake Valve Lift*:    .465"
Exhaust Valve Lift*:    .465"
Lobe Separation:    114
Intake Valve Lash:    .000"
Exhaust Valve Lash:     .000"
RPM Range:    3500-7500

*Based on 1.4 Rocker Arm Ratio

This is Schneiders 294H cam with a valve lift of .465" using a 1.4 rocker. Divide .465 by 1.4 and you get .332" lobe lift. Then multiply .332" by 1.6 and you get .531" valve lift. I would definitely need to know this when you bought this package because I clearance these retainers for a .500" lift cam and this baby would smash the crap out of your valve seals if I didn't add more clearance for the extra lift.

Part Number:     14626
Grind Number:    264H-14
Intake Duration (gross):    264
Exhaust Duration (gross):    264
Intake Duration (.050”):    210
Exhaust Duration (.050”):    210
Intake Valve Lift*:    .434"
Exhaust Valve Lift*:    .434"
Lobe Separation:    114
Intake Valve Lash:    .000"
Exhaust Valve Lash:     .000"
RPM Range:   2000-6000

*Based on 1.4 Rocker Arm Ratio

This is Schneiders 264H cam that has a valve lift of .434" with a 1.4 rocker. Divide .434" by 1.4 and you get .310" lobe lift. Then multiply .310" by 1.6 and you get .496" valve lift. With this cam you would be fine running the lightweight valvetrain package clearanced fora .500" lift cam.

Anyone looking to buy a performance cam can get it directly from Schneider for $118.99 with your cam core to regrind plus shipping.
