« on: November 22, 2009, 09:12:33 AM »
These are stock replacement Delphi fuel injectors for our cars. They are 650cc primary and 950cc secondary for the 88-89 cars or two 850cc for the 85-86 cars. They are a direct bolt in setup without having to modify the mixer housing meaning they are already machined to fit.

The price for the stock replacement injectors will be $168.00 shipped USPS Priority Mail with tracking...

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THESE DELPHI INJECTORS CANNOT BE PAIRED WITH THE FACTORY STOCK MITSUBISHI FUEL INJECTORS. THE DEPHI INJECTOR'S ARE ABOUT A 1/4" TALLER SO THE UPPER FUEL RAIL WILL NOT MOUNT UP PROPERLY.

The sizes that available are 650cc, 750cc, 780cc, 850cc, 950cc, 1050cc, 1150cc, 1200cc, 1400cc and 1600cc.

1600cc ---------- $115.00 ea. (Bosch) (E85 "Methanol" ONLY)

I NOW CARRY THE 2200cc INJECTORS "ID2000" - $200.00 ea. (E85 "Methanol" ONLY)

Anyone interested speak now of forever be looking for used injectors...

WHEN YOU ARE READY TO PURCHASE THE INJECTOR KIT PLEASE SEND ME YOUR PAYPAL E-MAIL ADDRESS AND I WILL SEND YOU AN INVOICE. PLEASE DO NOT JUST SEND ME THE MONEY.

UPDATE : If your actual shipping address is not the same as your Paypal address please have it updated before sending payment. I WILL NOT SHIP TO AN UNCONFIRMED ADDRESS OR ANY ADDRESS OTHER THAN WHAT IS LISTED ON THE PAYPAL PAYMENT INVOICE.[/b]

If you don't have a Paypal account USPS money orders ONLY are also accepted.

The four smaller stainless screws are a little bonus for the pulsation damper and fuel line.

I decided to go with the nicer button head allen stainless screws because the low profile head just looks so much sexier ;)

PLEASE REMEMBER TO LEAVE SOME FEEDBACK WHEN YOU GET YOUR INJECTORS INSTALLED

=====================================================================================================

Hello Everyone, I want to take this time to give a little update on the injectors. This GP has gone very well and the majority of people who bought injectors from me are extremely happy with them.

Now, on the other hand there are some people who bought injectors from me and haven't had such good results. They were claiming the injectors were leaking, they didn't work, the car wouldn't idle, the car ran rough and wouldn't boost... just to name a few. After the injectors get sent back to me I send them back to my supplier to get tested and I found that every injector was filled with crud from a dirty fuel system, a dirty fuel system that most likely damaged the injectors that were in the car initially. I'm sorry to have to say this but

BRAND NEW INJECTORS FILLED WITH CRAP IS NOT CONSIDERED PART OF THE THREE YEAR WARRANTY

With that said I want to make this very clear, if you buy a set of new injectors and you do not take the time to at least change the fuel filter, flush out the fuel feed line after the filter and flush out the upper fuel rail and I find that the injectors got clogged up with crap YOU WILL NOT just get a new set. You will either be paying to get them cleaned which I do not do at my shop, they are sent back to my supplier for that and I get charged for it or you will be paying for a new set if they cannot be cleaned / repaired. I have had several sets already that were damaged beyond cleaning and I was good enough to replace them but its happened too many times and my supplier can't keep handing out new injectors because someone didn't bother taking the necessary steps to get their fuel system into shape before installing them.

I do understand there are rare instances when an injector IS just bad whether it be a bad coil or something internal just wasn't right BUT the injectors I sell are put through a full spectrum of tests before I get them and I further leak test, OHM test and spray test them before I ship them out. So when someone emails me right after they get the injectors and says, HEY these don't work or says they leak I get this really strange look on my face because there is no way they can work here in my shop but after traveling in the mail to their house now they aren't working. Logic suggests that something happened AFTER they reached their destination and when I get them back the truth will be known.

Ok, thats all for now and if anyone needs a set please let me know.

Take care
Brian

What is the spray pattern on these? Are these the wider spray, or just the run of the mill injectors?

JR

oh and welcome to the vendor section

Thanks JR, its good to be here. I asked that question to the company I get them from and I was told that they were a standard spray pattern and no modifications were needed. I'm not an injector expert by any means but what is the spray pattern on the stock Mitsu injectors? I believe they told me the Delphi's were a 15~18 degree spray pattern. They're working great in my car and it's running smoother than it ever did so my question would be is the spray pattern that critical?

Hey Brian,

I had a set of injectors cleaned by Fuel Injector Clinic, that came from your competition a couple years ago, that are Delphi's. FIC did a spray pattern check for me and the 650cc injector clean was 28 degrees and the 950cc clean was 26 degrees @3bar/43.5psi. You would think yours are very close if not the same.

FYI,,,

Oh I can see one hiding behind the hose clamp ;)  Now all you need are some steel braided lines to spiff up that engine compartment   By the way, where do you have that breather hose going off the back of the valve cover?

I just have a hose on it about 12in or so just so if it does sputter any oil its not going on the motor that's all.

whats your turn around time? and if i got say 1050cc secondairy instead of that 890 would it already be machined as well?
also would that be too big of a jump you think for increasing the secondairy size and cause issues running?

I'm not sure what you mean by turn around time. That usually has to do with how long it takes to ship your parts back after I get the work done.

As far as the injectors go I have 650cc, 950cc and 1050cc sizes in stock and ready to ship out as soon as you send the payment. The size injectors you need really depends on your modifications and how much boost you will be running and even then its not something I can guess at.

For example, in my car I run a 650cc primary and a 1050cc secondary. The mods I have done are :

20G @ 22psi
3" Exhaust
3.5" GM MAF w/ translator and Apexi SAFC
2 1/4" Full IC piping & intercooler
stock TB
1.6 roller rockers w/ stock cam
mild ported AMC stock valve head
Innovate W/B for tuning

With this setup there is no way I could just plug in two injectors and have them be anywhere close to optimal A/F ratios without having the SAFC for fine tuning.

If you are still running stock injectors (Black / Blue) and never had them tested there is no way to really tell where your at either because 10 different primaries or secondaries can vary greatly in cc's. All the injectors I sell are flow tested and engraved with the exact cc's they flow so you know exactly what your getting.

So before giving any recommendations I would at least need to know what all you have done first and we can go from there.
