Car Audio Installation
« on: June 23, 2009, 10:59:36 AM »
I can do pretty much anything from a simple deck install to custom enclosures, ampracks and panels. Sorry, due to liability reasons and the fact that I HATE doing them, I do not offer alarm or remote car starter installation.

I was a professional installer for 3 years at a well known Car Audio chain in MI. I've been a part of many award winning builds during my time there. I also took part in many car audio competitions and won my class a number of times. I did a number of MECA shows and even one IASCA.

Each car will be different, but I can kind of give you an idea what I charge.

Deck installs- $20-25
Simple speaker installs- $25 per pair
Component speaker installs- $50 per pair
Amp installs- $25

That's just for basic installation stuff. Anything else like rewiring, speaker pods, amp racks or enclosures are going to fall under custom installation and will be quoted accordingly. For my custom work I try to make about $15/ hour for my labor.

Prices also do not include all materials. It handles connectors, tape, solder, screws, etc.., but your car may need an installation kit or an aftermarket plug kit for a deck install, so there might be an extra charge for materials, if needed.

5% discount for all ACTIVE 26liter members (no joining and postwhoring for a couple of days to get the good guy price )
