Here’s the rules. Pic must have been taken between June 1 and August 31, 2009. The atmosphere of the picture should be some sort of summer time setting. For instance, you’ll want to get a pic at the beach, tourist location, theme park, etc… Places people tend to go on summer vacations. Pics of your car at a car show or the drag strip will be allowed too since the car shows and racing usually are non existent in the winter (in some parts of the country, anyway). This weekend might make for a nice opportunity what with the fireworks shows across the country. Some of you may not live near a place with that sort of atmosphere but get creative. Try and find a corn field, or maybe a drought-plagued, barren landscape. Something that gives the feeling of summer. Of course, your SQ must be in the pic, but doesn’t have to be the focal point of the picture.
You can post as many pics in this thread as you want, but come Aug. 31, each person will have to pick only their best picture to submit for a final poll. We’ll run that poll until Sept. 30, and the winner will get a prize from Burton’s Customs.
